ODM stands for Original design manufacture. The design corporation design and manufacture products according to another factory's specification and requirements.
2. Objectives
Conducting R&D based on clients’ technical requirements.
3. Workflow
The documents of ODM are:
Product Function Spectfication、Schematic、PCB Diagram、BOM list、HEX Documents、Test requirements、Quotation、Sample making agreement、Quantity Production Agreement、Work Flow、Production Operation Instructor、Test Documents、QC Point etc.
Copying and decoding or reprogramming software applications on samples provided by clients.
Utilize decoding approach if the cost is low or clients requested no adjustments to be made.
Suggest software reprogramming if decoding cost is high or clients requested changes to be made.
We can imitate the board layouts, improve the circuit design by referring to schematic diagrams, make more drastic adjustments on existing hardware circuit infrastructure or make changes on existing circuit infrastructure. To expedite the R&D process, reprogramming of the software applications meeting clients’ requirements will also be utilized as well.
